Sabrina Meck Perez is the Amarillo Economic Development Corporation's Director of Workforce Attraction & Retention. Sabrina helps Amarillo area businesses recruit and retain talent while also encouraging young people to live and work in Amarillo. She previously served with America's Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at WTAMU, where she consulted companies in areas such as social media marketing and branding. She has both her bachelor's and master's degrees from West Texas A&M University. Sabrina serves on the Executive Committee of the Panhandle Community Partnership, whose initiatives are to create Education-Industry Collaboration, increase work-based learning opportunities, and create better pathways to post-secondary credentials and ultimately careers that provide a higher standard of living. Sabrina currently serves as Vice President on the board member of The Hope & Healing Place and serves on the board of Elevate Amarillo, the city's young professionals group. Sabrina is passionate about developing the next generation of leaders and giving young people a voice in the future of the Amarillo community.
