Leveraging Amarillo’s favorable assets for renewable energy, the company will strengthen their position as an international leader with a unique and integrated business model that spans the entire value chain, from the manufacture and supply of components to the development, construction, maintenance and operation of wind, solar and biomass energy projects.
At their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Amarillo, SciCron Technologies produces high performance coated plastic products that are used in a number of applications including many scientific applications where sterile conditions are critical. Their manufacturing steps are carried out in specially designed Class 100 (ISO Class 5) cleanrooms following ISO 9000 quality assurance protocols to assure consistent product quality and performance.
Products manufactured in Amarillo from Sage Oil Vac are found on job sites throughout the world. Their enclosed systems protect both the environment and employees, reduce maintenance costs and keep projects on time by ensuring equipment runs well. Sage relocated their manufacturing operations to Amarillo in 2001. Since then, the company continues to increase their exports, making it one of just 64 companies across the United States to receive a 2014 President’s E Award from the Commerce Department.
